Meet the Team
Founder: Joanne Elvin
Joanne has over thirty-five years experience in all aspects of the breed, dealing with a huge variety of health conditions and situations. With a sound knowledge of the long term health conditions that can affect small breeds including the Pomeranian and the required treatments, Joanne also has specialist experience in the treatment of exceptionally small dogs.
Over the years Joanne has helped re-home small dogs locally, becoming well known in the local area for her experience and dedication. This work lead to her volunteering for 'The Pomeranian Club Breed Rescue" for over a year as Rescue Co-Ordinator, Joanne then decided to break away from the club and volunteer independently for the breed, to help Pomeranians in need and to help the public re-home their Pomeranians.
Over the years Joanne has helped re-home small dogs locally, becoming well known in the local area for her experience and dedication. Co-Founder: Nina Elvin
Brought up in a household of Pomeranians, Nina's heart has been in the breed from a young age. Her first Pomeranian 'Andy Pandy' captured her heart as a toddler and the pair grew up together, cementing her passion for the breed.
She has learnt a wealth of valuable knowledge about the breed through helping her mum Joanne over the years. With previous experience working as an assistant dog trainer for several local clubs she has gained experience in canine behaviour and has also been a regular breed ambassador for Pomeranians at events run by The Kennel Club.
As well as helping with the rescues that find there way to Pomeranians For Life, Nina also assists with administrative tasks and fielding calls. She is also responsible for P.R. for the organisation and is currently studying for a degree in English Literature and Writing.

Kim Talbot
American born Kim has extensive experience working with animals, having been the manager of a cat kennels, she has also worked on a thoroughbred farm and volunteered at a Wildlife centre in California. Her work as a veterinarian assistant in a private practice as well as in an emergency clinic has given her the opportunity to work with a variety of different situations, and she kindly brings this knowledge to Pomeranians For Life.
Having owned Pom's since 2006, Kim has developed a solid knowledge of the breed and has years of experience in other breeds including Dobermans. She has also dedicated her time to promoting the breed as an ambassador.

Lana Poole
Jet-setter Lana travels around Europe for work, accompanied by her Pomeranian Teddy.
Whilst located in the U.K. Lana helps to promote Pomeranians For Life and also gives her time helping at Discover Dogs events.

Joanna Ismail
Joanna lives with her three Pomeranians in London and works for a Veterinary equipment company.
As well as volunteering for Pomeranians For Life she is also a volunteer and trustee for Hounslow Animal Welfare, completing home checks and helping with events.

Paul Elvin
Owning Pomeranians for the past twenty-six years, Paul offers his support to Pomeranians For Life and also promotes and supports rescue Greyhounds.
Helping to transport those Pomeranians that find themselves in kennels in his spare time, Paul fulfils most of Pomeranians For Life's transporting needs.
